Giving Back Through Shingle Bells

How to Enter

Please send your story about a local family or nonprofit organization and why they need our help. Send photos of the roof and full photos of the building, along with the contact information for the family or organization. This includes the First and Last Name, Phone Number, and Email Address of the family or organization. This information can be submitted via email at: shinglebells@mrgoodroof.com with the subject line “Shingle Bells”; via USPS Mail to: Mr. GoodRoof Shingle Bell Roof Giveaway, 273 West Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075; or via person at our office: 273 West Main Street in Hendersonville during business hours.

Mr. GoodRoof is not responsible for delays with email or the United States Postal Service.

All submissions received that are mutilated, tampered with, or illegible will be void. All submissions become the property of Mr. GoodRoof and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Eligibility

All nominees must reside in Middle Tennessee in Sumner, Davidson, Wilson, Robertson, Williamson, or Rutherford counties must be a citizen of the United States, and be at least 18 years of age. Minors are not eligible to participate.

All rental properties are excluded from participating.

Employees of Mr. GoodRoof and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandchildren, and grandparents, whether as in-laws or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, cohabitation, or another family extension, and any other person residing at that same household whether or not they are related.

One chosen nominee will receive one roof from Mr. GoodRoof, particularly a GAF asphalt shingle roof that does not exceed 2,800 square feet. Homeowners who have filed previous insurance claims for roof repair or replacement will not be eligible. Mr. GoodRoof will directly contact the chosen nominee.

The panel will select nominees from available submissions. All decisions made by the panel are final. The Shingle Bells Roof Giveaway is non-transferable.

Telephone and Delivery Disclaimer

Mr. GoodRoof disclaims all liability for any delays, wrong deliveries, loss, or failure in delivering any item sent by mail, courier, express, electronic transmission, or another delivery method. Mr. GoodRoof disclaims all liability in the event of electrical or telephone service or any other cause not within our reasonable control.

Publicity

By participating, all nominees will grant Mr. GoodRoof exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with the promotion of this and future Shingle Bells Roof Giveaways and waive any royalties, rights, or remuneration for such use.

Release

By participating, each participant and chosen nominee waives any claims of liability against Mr. GoodRoof, its employees, and agents for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of or participation in the Shingle Bells Roof Giveaway.

Taxes

Any valuation of the roof giveaway is based on available information to Mr. GoodRoof, and the value of any roof installation may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. The chosen nominee is solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes.

Decisions

Mr. GoodRoof reserves the right to disqualify any nominee or chosen nominee and may refuse to install a roof for a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained any unfair advantage in participating in the roof giveaway or obtained selection status using fraudulent means. Furthermore, Mr. GoodRoof will resolve any disputes or ambiguities concerning the rules. Mr. GoodRoof’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final.

Miscellaneous

Each selected nominee must submit proof of eligibility and sign a Mr. GoodRoof company release form to obtain the free roof installation. No purchase is necessary to participate, and a nomination is void where prohibited. The odds of being selected depend on the number of participants. Mr. GoodRoof may substitute roof installation of equivalent value, amend the rules, or discontinue the contest at any time. Mr. GoodRoof disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of this roof giveaway.

Compliance with Our Laws

The conduct of this roof giveaway is governed by local and state laws, which take precedence over any rule to the contrary herein. Mr. GoodRoof shall follow the applicable local and state laws for conducting the roof giveaway as may be required by state and local laws.
